Grilled out some training through June. Rocked a presentation on the Peregrine Falcon and Bald Eagle. Did some hiking and some decompressing. Begun the “mourning” process of my residency- it finishes at the end of August. From tomorrow until the end I am working most days, with one or two off here and there. I have had a nice rest (my break was before the work, whereas others have longer breaks in between trips.)Went to Southern California for four days.
My brother flew in from San Francisco also. 
We spent time with Dad, who had back surgery, and Mom- eating well, walking a little bit and enjoying the sunlight! 
July 4th was a blast--- back to the neighborhood for some familiar faces. 
Hung out with Grandma Lily on that afternoon and we went to In-n-out together. 
Then some other old skool faces over the couple of days- friends from high school and AZA.
A quick jaunt to SD to see my dad’s parents and generally enjoy the sunshine. 
Thank God for the sun… wow it is an amazing feeling to bake and bask in the light. I really missed it!Cheers!
