We got to the hotel early to get dressed as a crew...
We "Poleholders" or "Polebearers" were asked to wear black chuck taylors w/ black ties... Wayne wore a red tie and the two of them wore red chucks!
A handsome man, no?
The Rabbi reminding Wayne that there was still time to back out :)
The ceremony took place on the grass. I have no pictures of it because I was on the bima with everyone. The front-row "seat" was totally worth not having any pictures!
The Rabbi asks Mia to sign the ketubah also... Wayne double-checks that it is indeed his bride!
Wine and appetizers on the balcony, outside the reception room. Apparently this is where the Dole company unloads their bananas and other fruits, as a port into the US. It was funny because at times during the ceremony the containers were clanging around and being unloaded.
Nir sticks out like the sun itself! I hadn't seen him in years but boy was it great to have a drink with some old friends! Most of who are married and have at least one child. I am OK though not being hitched or with kids :)
One day I will be as pretty as Wayne. Until then, I will just smile bigger!
First dance
Hill (pretty as usual), Wayne (great undershirt), Mia (gorgeous), Me (trying not to flaunt my black tie)
Cake anyone?
Sunset from Grandma and Saba's back patio at dinner time for Dad's birthday
My traditional Blowing of the Conch Shell at sunset... It was a nice weekend.
